The worst book ever!

I've decided to begin a new form of study for my craft, and I need everyone's help. So, if you're over from BE, I ask that you use 15 of your 30 seconds to ponder, and the other 15 to post below in comments.

What is the worst book you've ever read?

You can just give me the name or you can go into details, and tell me why it was the worst book ever.

I'll start. The Rule of Four.

Okay, your turn! Thanks in advance, you're really helping me out.

Oh by the way, I'm currently reading:

Wicked, by Gregory Maguire.

Worst book ever - The Morning After by Suzanne Forester. I still play kickball with it every time I see it, and pretty much keep it around in my house for that reason only. She set back the romance industry thirty years with that book. Oh, the heroine says, I know the hero drugged me, raped me, impregnated me, kidnapped me, lied to me, manipulated me, but I luuuuuuurrrrve him, so it's all ok. Yicch. :)

The whole list? Heh. Here's two.

Night Embrace by Sherrilyn Kenyon--moronic heroine, trite hero, cheesy dialogue, stupid world building, lots of sex but not sexual tension.

Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series--whiny, rapist protagonist.

Worst book was a Stephen King book, I think it was called Donald's Game...it was so stupid. The dumb ass main character lets her hubby handcuff her to the bed then hubby has a heart attak and dies leaving her in the middle of freaking no where tied up to a bed. That's the firtst chapter. I couldn't stand the pain of reading an entire book about how she was locked to the bed and trying to chew her arm off so I threw it away. grrr

Leigh: I miss you so much. I know I haven't been around lately. Ugh. My DSL was killing me, actually killing the whole darn connection...Anyway, I'm back :D Missed me? Hehe.

I still owe you an email. Haven't forgotten (Bad, bad Marwa).

Well, the worst book for me would have to be "The stars shine down" by Sidney Sheldon. He's great author and I love his style. But that book was a major let down. It was boring and you know I had so much faith in the guy (Sheldon) and I was like, "Oh no! It'll still get better. it can't be just that!" But well, when you read "The end" and still there's NOTHING, you lose all faith.

Also, "Mortal" by Andrea Badenoch. I can't say it was that bad. But the heroine was rather cold so many times and the plot wasn't that complicated.

So there's my humble list :-)
